- More and more, I'm finding web sites that I can connect to, but either never
- flow any data, or flow at astoundengly slow transfer rates.
-
- I'm using AmiTCP3.0b2, AMosaic, and IBrowse through a CSLIP link.
- (rhcslip.device)
-
- I tried using Netscape, running on Shapeshifter through MacPPP/TCP, and it
- works fine there.
-
- Here's an example: http:/www.vv.com/ works fine on Shapeshifter, but with an
- Amiga browser, I get a packet every minute or so - I watch the lights on the
- modem, and the RX light flashes at that rate.
-
- It's like the server sending the page is really lagged, but only to Amigas -
- I can connect to the "lagged" server with a PC here in the office, and it
- runs fine. Pinging the server address on the Amiga works fine too.
-
- This used to happen with one site in 100, but it's becoming more and more
- common.
-
- Anybody else seeing this?
